Sterling Silver and Brass, Marriage 1: (1.5″ x 1″ x 3.5″) x2 Marriage 2: (1.5″ x 1″ x 3.5″) x2 Stone: 1.5″ x 1″ x 3.5″
Based on my love of form, I made these three sterling silver and brass pieces to combine my appreciation and sensibility for many things: weathered rock, sand dunes and the left over shape from squeezing clay in my palm to ready it for use. Simple clasps join two pieces indicating the abstract link of a union in “Marriage,” whereas in “Stone” the form is about the interior, hidden shape of the closed hand and a meditation on feeling the unseen palm.
